Faculty in the Department of Pediatrics proudly serve the children and families who receive care and access services at McMaster Children’s Hospital. Supporting a population of over two million people, our physicians staff the fastest-growing children’s emergency department in the province as well as one of Canada’s most advanced neonatal care units.

Through our work at the hospital and in centres and clinics throughout the region, we provide expertise in numerous areas including childhood cancer, digestive diseases, mental health, developmental pediatrics, eating disorders, complex care, cardiology, diabetes and endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatology, allergy and immunology, neurology, palliative medicine, and pediatric intensive care.
